AGAINST OUR FAITH

Hebrews 11:3 (KJV)

Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

 IMPACT POINT! The Most Vital Part of A Visionary People Is Their Faith

 2 Corinthians 2:11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.

1.   HE PLANTS FEAR IN YOUR MIND THROUGH FALSE IMAGES

2 Corinthians 10:3-5

3: For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

4: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds;)
5: Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

An imagination starts as a thought that turns into a feeling that paints vivid images of something that is usually only a figment of your mind. An imagination can produce intense stress and anxiety.

IMPACT POINT! Fear Is Simply Faith for What You Don’t Want

Job 3:25 For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.

2.   HE PUTS PREACHERS OF DOOM AROUND YOU TO SHAKE YOUR CONFIDENCE IN GOD AND YOURSELF

The people around you are either promoting the message of God or Satan.

 

Matthew 16:23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offense unto me: for thou savorest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

IMPACT POINT! When You Encounter Certain People and Your Faith Level Drops You Then Know That They Are Being Used By Satan to Impact Your Faith

Mark 5:35-36

35: While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue’s house certain which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further?

36: As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, be not afraid, only believe.

Jesus caught his faith before their words could take root. Jesus recognized them as faith killers.

1.   HE TRYS TO FOCUS OUR MINDS ON WHAT WE SEE IN THE NATURAL

This is where the Children of Israel got tricked by the enemy when they went into the Promised Land.

2 Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.

 

2 Corinthians 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
